Public Food Facility's Production Activities Suspended

The production activities of a public food facility owned by "Artin Men" LLC have been suspended by the State Inspectorate for Food Safety during an inspection carried out by inspectors from the Yerevan Center.

It was found that the facility operates in violation of sanitary and hygienic norms defined by legal acts in Yerevan. According to the announcement by the food safety inspection authority:

• The walls of the public food facility did not have smooth, impermeable, non-absorbent, and washable surfaces.
• The ceiling was not constructed in a way to prevent dirt accumulation, condensation of steam, and the possibility of particles falling.
• There was no regular cleaning, washing, sanitizing, pest control, and rodent extermination of the production buildings, technological equipment, and items used in the food production process.
• Hot water and hygienic hand drying devices were not provided.
• Employees were not subjected to mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations and did not possess sanitary books.

The announcement noted that the production activities of the public food facility have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for eliminating the identified violations.
