Iran Successfully Launches Spacecraft Containing Animals
Iran has successfully launched a spacecraft into orbit that contains animals. Tehran is preparing to send humans into space in the coming years with this move.
According to Iranian state agencies, Communication Minister Isa Zarepour announced this without disclosing the types of animals aboard the launched spacecraft.
On October 4, Zarepour also stated that his country is working on sending humans to space within the next five years. He noted that this requires the creation of a special biocapsule, which Iran plans to test in the coming months.
Following this, Zarepour announced several space projects that Iran intends to present by the end of March 2024, although he did not provide further details, emphasizing that more information will be shared later.
