Photos: Situation After the Fire Erupts in Dilijan National Park
Firefighting efforts continue at the Dilijan National Park. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
The firefighting operations at Dilijan National Park are being carried out intensively. To identify smoldering hotspots of the fire, aerial reconnaissance is being conducted using drones.
Due to the terrain's characteristics and complexities, rescue crews from the special operations center of the Emergency Situations Service have also been involved in firefighting efforts. In mountainous areas, as well as in hard-to-reach and impassable locations, primary firefighting methods are being utilized, along with equipment designed for water usage, including backpack sprayers.
It is worth noting that earlier a video was published, and it was reported that the fire, which erupted on December 3 in the Aghavnavank area of Dilijan National Park, has weakened relative to its previous intensity; however, it has not yet been extinguished.
