A man attacked passersby in Paris while chanting 'Allahu Akbar'. As a result of the incident, one person has died and several others have been injured. According to police, the deceased was a citizen of Germany.
The man was arrested at the scene, and police were forced to open fire in his direction. Reuters, citing the French Ministry of the Interior, reports that the attacker is a 26-year-old French citizen named Armand Rajabpour-Miyando, who is originally from France. He recorded a video prior to the attack, declaring himself a supporter of the Islamic State terrorist organization. Previously, he spent four years in a French prison for planning terrorism.
