The United Kingdom Joins the Gaza Conflict, Conducting Intelligence Operations
Lilit A.
The United Kingdom is joining the Gaza conflict by conducting intelligence operations. The UK's Ministry of Defence has announced that it will begin intelligence flights over the Mediterranean Sea, including the airspace of Israel and the Gaza Strip.
The aim of these operations is to assist in the rescue of kidnapped hostages, some of whom are British citizens. The UK assures that its aircraft will not carry combat munitions, although specific types of surveillance technology have not been disclosed.
It is worth noting that the Israeli Minister of Defence announced the end of the ceasefire, stating that the Israel Defense Forces are once again engaging in combat with full force.
