Winter Will Be Difficult: Counteroffensive Has Not Yielded Desired Results – Zelensky
A new phase of conflict with Russia has begun. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the Associated Press. According to RIA Novosti, he said, "The war with Russia has entered a new phase, and it is expected that winter will complicate combat operations after the summer counteroffensive, which has not yielded desired results due to a constant shortage of weaponry and ground troops."
At the same time, he asserted that because of this, "one cannot be satisfied," but one can also "express serious grievances."
It should be noted that the Ukrainian counteroffensive began on June 4. According to Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, the Ukrainian armed forces have not achieved their objectives in any direction.
