Samvel Babayan: 'I Haven't Seen or Heard from Nikol Pashinyan for 2 Years'
The former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army and former Secretary of the Security Council, Samvel Babayan, proposed the creation of a special department to address the issues of the people of Artsakh. However, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, rejected this proposal. Babayan shared this information during a press briefing with reporters at the National Assembly.
"I proposed creating a special department, which operated in the 1990s on Moscow Street, to support the people of Nagorno-Karabakh regarding resettlement and all related issues, as you frame it. He rejected it," Babayan stated.
When asked why his proposal was rejected, Babayan expressed that he did not know and that no justification was provided. "I have not met Nikol Pashinyan; I sent my proposal in writing. It has been more than two years since I last saw him, heard from him, or have any knowledge of him," Babayan added.
