Number of Journalists Killed Since the Escalation of the Palestine-Israel Conflict

The Committee to Protect Journalists has confirmed the deaths of 57 journalists and media workers since the outbreak of war in Gaza, according to the Tasnim Agency.

According to the committee, among the victims, 50 were Palestinians, and 3 were Lebanese. Additionally, 19 journalists are currently detained.

The committee is actively investigating numerous unverified reports of journalists facing violence or threats, emphasizing their civilian status during conflicts.

Journalist unions have called on the UN Secretary-General and the president of the International Federation of Journalists to adopt a strong stance on the protection of journalists in Palestine.
