Russian-Georgian Road Closed: Over 2,000 Trucks Stuck

Due to severe weather conditions, the Russian-Georgian road has been closed. From the Russian side, there are 2,100 vehicles expected to be stuck on their way to Georgia. This information is provided on the website of the North Ossetia Traffic Organization Center.

According to queue data, a total of 2,166 trucks have registered for departure from Russia to Georgia as of the morning. Truck traffic has been closed since November 26 at 20:15 due to adverse weather conditions. This road is the only land route that connects Russia with Georgia and Armenia.
