Israel has allowed four tanker trucks carrying fuel and household gas to enter Gaza through the Rafah crossing as part of a ceasefire and hostage release agreement. This was reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their Telegram channel, according to RIA Novosti.
“This morning, four fuel tankers and another four household gas tankers were sent by Egypt through the Rafah crossing to humanitarian organizations in southern Gaza. This step has been approved by the Israeli government as part of a ceasefire and hostage release agreement,” the military's statement said.
The four-day ceasefire between the Israeli army and the ruling Palestinian Hamas movement in Gaza came into effect at 07:00 local time on Friday morning (09:00 Yerevan time).
