“I have discovered facts that no one would have been entitled to obtain in any other forum. This was stated by the head of the inquiry commission, Andranik Kocharyan, in a conversation with reporters after a session of the commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, attended by Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan.

“I have discovered facts that no one would have been entitled to obtain in any other forum. Now I understand why Arzvik Minasyan did not want the Artsakh President's participation in the inquiry commission's session to become a reality,” he said.

Kocharyan noted that the discussion concerns post-war events because the 44-day war did not end there; events have taken place after the war that are directly related to the days of the 44-day war and the period of the forced displacement of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh.

“I can say that Mr. Shahramanyan has been maximally honest. We discussed issues that are not even subject to discussion,” Kocharyan added.

It is noteworthy that Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan participated in the session of the National Assembly's inquiry commission, which was conducted in a closed format.
