The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has ‘transformed’ into Elon Musk by testing a deepfake service created by Sberbank's specialists. The video was published on Telegram channels.

At the exhibition organized as part of the 'Journey into the World of Artificial Intelligence' conference, in addition to the Elon Musk character, visitors could also 'try out' the face of actress Emma Watson. The neural network technology transforms the video in real time.

In response to journalists' questions about possible ways to combat deepfakes, Peskov expressed confidence that the operation of such algorithms can be detected and expressed satisfaction that the company is developing solutions to uncover such technological tricks.

'Young people are developing algorithms, which is very good,' Peskov noted.
