4 Fights, 4 Victories: Armenian Boxers Shine at Youth World Championships

The Youth World Boxing Championship held in Yerevan has kicked off with victories for Armenian boxers. This has been reported by the Armenian Boxing Federation.

48 kg weight category European champion Vagharshak Keyan secured a convincing victory in his first match of the World Championship. The Armenian athlete competed against a representative from South Korea, where he knocked his opponent down three times in the second round, ultimately winning by technical knockout.

In the 52 kg category, Aren Khachatryan also achieved victory, fighting against a representative from Mongolia. He managed to knock his opponent down three times and won with a score of 5-0.

Meanwhile, in the 57 kg category, Tigran Makichyan representing Armenia had a significant advantage over his Qatari opponent, winning by technical knockout in the third round.

In the 63 kg category, Alik Kchoyan went up against a representative from Germany. Our boxer was able to knock down his opponent three times in the very first round, prompting the referee to stop the match early.
