Ozbilis on Possible Participation in HFF Presidential Elections

The former player of the Armenian national football team and champion of Armenia, midfielder Aras Ozbilis, announced the end of his professional football career. During a press conference held on this occasion, the 33-year-old Ozbilis stated that he will run for the presidency of the Football Federation of Armenia (HFF).

"I have always said that after the end of my career, I must help Armenian football, whether it be as a coach or manager. I have decided to announce my candidacy for the HFF presidential elections. I grew up abroad, and my primary goal is to change the mindset in Armenian football," said Ozbilis.

It is noteworthy that Aras Ozbilis began his professional career in 2010 with Ajax. Throughout his career, he played for clubs such as Kuban, Spartak Moscow, Beşiktaş, Rayo Vallecano, Sheriff Tiraspol, Willem II, Pyunik Yerevan, and Urartu. He has participated in 41 matches for the Armenian national football team, scoring 6 goals.

Furthermore, the elections for the president of the Football Federation of Armenia will take place on December 23.
