No State Has Applied to Suspend Membership in CSTO, Says Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry
No state has applied to suspend its membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), said Kairat Umarov, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.
“Therefore, we do not expect any changes in the CSTO today. It is always better to be inside such an organization than outside,” Umarov stated.
He also noted that Kazakhstan is one of the founding members of the CSTO.
