66 Deaths in 10 Months: The Number of Victims from Traffic Accidents in Yerevan has Increased

From the beginning of the year until November 1, 2023, there have been 1,071 accidents reported in Yerevan, including 604 pedestrian incidents, totaling 1,675 road traffic accidents in which 66 citizens lost their lives. In the first ten months of 2023, there have been 8 more fatal accidents recorded in the capital than during the entire year of 2022.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia urges citizens to exhibit vigilance, adhere to traffic regulations, and for pedestrians to cross roads only at designated places.
