Western Negotiation Formats Have Become Uninteresting for Baku: Arthur Khachatryan

Western negotiation formats have become uninteresting for Baku, as it has received everything it wanted from Armenia right in the West. This was stated by opposition ‘Armenia’ alliance MP Arthur Khachatryan during a press briefing in the National Assembly, while commenting on Baku's refusal to participate in the negotiations at the level of foreign ministers in Washington.

Khachatryan expressed concerns that Baku’s refusal to hold meetings in Granada, Brussels, and now Washington could lead to a new war.

According to him, while Prime Minister Pashinyan speaks of peace, Azerbaijan is signing a contract with Israel for the supply of air defense systems worth a total of $1.2 billion. The MP also drew attention to the number of military exercises Azerbaijan has conducted since the 44-day war, including those held jointly with Turkey, compared to how many exercises Armenia has conducted during this period.
