Snowfall in Some Areas of Armenia
The roads across the Republic of Armenia are passable. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was noted that there is snowfall on the Sisian-Zanger section. Regarding the Lars area, information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's North Ossetia crisis management center indicates that the Stepanstmind-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
The Road Department also reports: “As of November 17 at 09:00, there is snowfall in the regions of Aragats, Spitak, Sevan, and Sisian, while rain is falling in the regions of Ani, Ashotzk, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Jambarak, Gavar, Martuni, Yeghegnadzor, and Vayk. All interstate and republican roads are open. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to travel with winter tires.”
We had previously reported that on the night of November 17, precipitation is expected in most regions, on the day of the 17th, and on the 19th and 21st in individual regions, with wet snow in mountainous areas.
