Body of Hostage Found Near Al-Shifa Hospital: IDF

Israeli soldiers have discovered the body of a hostage abducted by Palestinian militants on October 7 near the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. Weapons were also found at the scene, as reported by the army's press service.

According to the statement, the Israel Defense Forces located the body of Yehudit Weiss, who was kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization, in a building adjacent to the Al-Shifa Hospital and transferred it to Israeli territory. Military equipment was also found, including Kalashnikov rifles and RPGs.

According to The Times of Israel, Weiss was 65 years old and a mother of five. Her husband, Shmulik Weiss, was killed during an attack on their home, and his body was found in a shelter.
