Denmark May Block Entry of Russian Oil Tankers to Markets
Denmark may block the entry of ships carrying Russian oil to markets, according to the Financial Times. It has been noted that under a new EU plan, Denmark will be tasked with checking and blocking the entry of Russian oil tankers in its waters.
It is worth mentioning that approximately 60% of Russian maritime oil exports are transported via the Baltic Sea, and these tankers navigate through Danish straits to access international markets.
