Father of Soldier Killed in Azat Military Unit Fire Dies in Car Accident on Ejmiatsin Road

A fatal car accident occurred in the Ararat region yesterday. This is reported by Shamshyan.com.

"Around 19:40, an Opel Astra vehicle lost control at the intersection of the Masis-Vagharshapat highway near the Sayat-Nova and Mizami villages, collided with earthen mounds, then hit a concrete post and partially ended up in a non-operational ditch," the website states.

It is noted that the driver of the vehicle died at the scene, while one person was transferred to the 'Erebuni' medical center. The media outlet, citing witnesses at the scene, reports that the deceased was the father of one of the soldiers who died in a fire at the Azat village military unit on January 19.
