Iran Upgrades Air Defense System Amid New Threats
Iran has updated its air defense system in response to new threats, stated the commander of Iran's northeastern air defense zone, Brigadier General Mohammadreza Masoomin, according to Mehr.
He emphasized that Iran's air defense is capable of identifying any potential threat. Masoomin further noted that if aerospace threats increase rapidly, defensive technologies in the country will also advance at the same pace.
The commander confirmed that Iran's military progress is solely oriented toward deterrence and does not pose a threat to neighboring countries.
