It Is Known How Many Museums Remain Under Azerbaijani Control in Artsakh

Eight museums in Artsakh have come under the control of Azerbaijan. This is reported by the State Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Artsakh.

It is noted that due to the forced displacement of the population of the Republic of Artsakh, eight museums have come entirely or partially under Azerbaijani control. “As a result of the 2020 war, in the occupied territories of Artsakh, ten more museums remain under Azerbaijani control in the regions of Shushi and Hadrut, housing 17,070 exhibits and eight collections of artworks comprising 1,077 pieces,” the statement mentions.
