Will the case against the former head of Malatia-Sebastia and officials be closed? 'Hraparak'

Recently, the former head of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, Arman Barkhudaryan, along with officials of the municipality, has been detained. The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that these officials have been dismissed from their positions.

“Government sources do not rule out that by dismissing the officials and returning the damages, the case could be closed. According to information, Barkhudaryan and his subordinates were detained on suspicion of abusing their official position during procurement processes,” the newspaper writes.

It is noted that the National Security Service detained them on November 2, but hours later released Barkhudaryan, the head of the municipal department, Ashot Khachatryan, the head of the trade department, Hrayr Aramyan, and municipal worker Van Harutyunyan. Law enforcement agencies have remained silent for a week and have not issued any announcements.
