The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have demonstrated how they are destroying Hamas' underground tunnels in the Gaza Strip. According to media reports, Israeli soldiers have discovered water supplies and oxygen equipment beneath the ground. The IDF claims that this indicates Hamas is preparing to stay underground for an extended period.

Since the beginning of military operations, the IDF has stated that ground forces have destroyed more than 130 tunnels.
