VIDEO: The 'Grey Wolves' Organization Threatens Israeli Athletes
The Turkish ultranationalist organization 'Grey Wolves' has released a video threatening Israeli athletes who will participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The 'Grey Wolves' were responsible for the killing of 100 religious minorities in Marash in 1978 and played a key role in the Armenian genocide of the 1980s, as well as in conflicts in Artsakh and Chechnya during the 1990s. They maintain a hostile stance towards all non-Sunni communities in Turkey.
In June 2015, local 'Grey Wolves' leader encouraged his followers to 'start hunting Armenians' during an event when Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan visited the historic Armenian city of Ani. Just a few days ago, Azerbaijani soldiers greeted the Grey Wolves in the occupied Armenian city of Stepanakert.
Many countries have outlawed the 'Grey Wolves', while their political wing remains allied with President Erdoğan's ruling party in Turkey.
