The Detention Measure for the Sister of a Fallen Soldier Changed to House Arrest: Lawyer
The court has placed Tatvyk Virabyan under house arrest. This was announced by her lawyer, Arsen Babayan, on his Facebook page.
"The court has applied house arrest for Tatvyk Virabyan. Tatvyk will be released from custody on November 21," Babayan wrote.
It is worth noting that on September 20, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia issued a statement that a criminal case was initiated against a user named Tatvyk Virabyan for inciting violence and mass disturbances. She is the sister of Gevorg Virabyan, who fell in the 44-day war, and was detained for allegedly calling for violence.
