What Decision Did Netanyahu Make After the Israeli Minister's Statement on a Nuclear Strike?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has removed Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu from government meetings. Eliyahu had stated that a nuclear strike on the Gaza Strip is one of the "options" for the development of the conflict.

According to reports, Netanyahu's decision was to exclude the far-right Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Eliyahu from government sessions due to his untimely remarks. Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also strongly condemned Eliyahu for such statements.

"I condemn Minister Amichai Eliyahu's unfounded and irresponsible words. It is good that such individuals are not among those responsible for Israel's security," Gallant wrote on the X social media platform.

Earlier, it was reported that during a broadcast on Kol Berama radio, when asked by the host whether a nuclear strike should be carried out on the Palestinian enclave, Eliyahu noted that "it is one of the possible options." Later, the minister clarified that "it is clear to any reasonable person that the assertion about the atomic bomb is metaphorical." Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the possibility of a nuclear strike on the Gaza Strip mentioned by Amichai Eliyahu, Minister of Jerusalem and Heritage.
