VIDEO. "Have Mercy on Us, People" - Water Queues in Gaza Strip
The lack of drinking water in the Gaza Strip is one of the most pressing issues since the escalation of conflict in the region. This was reported by RT на русском Telegram channel.
Since the start of Israeli bombings, many desalination plants in the Gaza Strip have gone offline. People are forced to wait in line for hours and sometimes fight for water. “People gather, fight, and die for water. This is just a disaster. It is very difficult for us; our children are crying, they want water. Where can we find it?” said a local resident.
Israel, which halted electricity and fuel supplies to the Gaza Strip since the beginning of October, allows only a limited amount of humanitarian aid. “Have mercy on us, people, you need to help us, give us light and water, there is no food, there is no water, help us, let the whole world help us,” said another woman.
