Video: Armed Individual Opens Fire in Hospital, Takes Hostages at Post Office in Japan
An armed individual in Japan first entered a hospital and opened fire, before fleeing to a nearby town where he took hostages at a post office.
In Saitama Prefecture, the armed assailant opened fire in a hospital, injuring a doctor and a patient. Police have been unable to apprehend the suspect, who escaped to a neighboring town.
Once in the other town, the man entered the post office and took hostages. Currently, police have cordoned off the area, and there are 10 people inside the building, excluding the armed man, according to readovkanews. Reports indicate that the shooter is armed with a pistol and has a container of kerosene.
