Damage to Makhachkala Airport Assessed After Disturbances

After the disturbances, the damage to Makhachkala Airport has been estimated to be several million rubles, TASS reports.

“Equipment, infrastructure objects have been damaged, and cameras and fences have been broken,” said the airport's director, Said Ramazanov.

Ramazanov noted that the airport staff suffered more moral damage than physical harm.

It is recalled that mass riots occurred on the 29th at Makhachkala Airport against the backdrop of heightened tensions in the Middle East due to the arrival of a regular flight from Tel Aviv.
