Thousands of people held a demonstration in Madrid in solidarity with the Palestinian people amidst the Middle East conflict. This was reported by a TASS correspondent at the scene.

Protesters organized a march through the central streets of Madrid. The gathered crowd chanted phrases such as "Palestine, freedom!", "This is not a war, this is genocide", "Solidarity with Palestine!", and "Long live the struggle of the Palestinian people!" Many participants brought Palestinian flags with them.

The demonstration was supported by the Spanish "General Workers' Union", which demands an "immediate halt to Israeli airstrikes and military operations against the civilian population in Gaza and an end to the humanitarian blockade." The organization stated, "Revenge should not be confused with security, and nothing can justify violence. Massive punishment of Palestinian citizens by Israel after the brutal attacks by Hamas is a violation of international law."
