Israel Strikes Syrian Aleppo Airport
Israel has struck the runway of the international airport in Aleppo, Syria. This information was reported by the Syrian Sham FM radio station.
Today, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that following Israeli airstrikes in the southern Daraa province, 8 Syrian soldiers have been killed and 7 others injured.
"Israel has conducted aggression towards the international airport in Aleppo. The aggression has been limited to material damage, and no casualties have been reported among airport staff," the radio station's report states.
On October 22, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the runways of Damascus and Aleppo airports had been rendered non-operational due to an Israeli attack. The Syrian authorities informed that all flights have been redirected to Latakia.
Another strike was carried out on October 12.
