New Statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense

The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Since September 19, 2023, eight and sixteen temporary observation posts have been closed in the Askeran, Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions, according to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

To ensure road safety, six checkpoints have been established, two of which are jointly operated with the Azerbaijani side, as stated in the Russian Ministry of Defense's message.
