Iran to Conduct Trade Transactions with Armenia and Russia in National Currencies
In the near future, Armenia, Belarus, Iran, and Russia will transition to using national currencies in their trade transactions. The flow of goods will take place across open customs borders. This was announced by Kambiz Mirkazemi, a participant in the Russia-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, according to IRNA.
He noted that Iran and Russia have agreed to eliminate customs duties on imports from the two countries by March 2024. “By the end of the year, customs duties between Iran and Russia will be removed,” said Mirkazemi.
