Israel Establishes Special Operations Center to Target Hamas Commanders

Israel has created a special operations center aimed at eliminating Hamas commanders. This was reported by the Israeli publication The Times of Israel.

The Israeli Security Agency and the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, have established a dedicated operational center to plan missions targeting fighters and commanders of the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas.

According to sources cited by the publication, the new structure will identify and plan operations against representatives of Hamas who were directly involved in the attack on Israeli territory on October 7.

The publication notes that the new command center has already commenced operations. It is expected to strengthen following the initiation of ground operations by the Israel Defense Forces in the Gaza Strip.

Within the framework of its activities, Israeli intelligence services plan to gather information regarding the whereabouts of 'hundreds' of Hamas representatives.
