At Least 22 Journalists Killed Since Outbreak of Hostilities Between Israel and Hamas

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), at least 22 journalists have been killed since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, as reported by AFP.
Among them, 18 are Palestinian, three are Israeli, and one is Lebanese, as stated in the committee's announcement. Fifteen of the journalists died from Israeli airstrikes, while two were killed in Hamas raids in southern Israel. Eight journalists have been injured, and three are considered missing or detained, the committee added.

CPJ underscores that journalists are civilians performing crucial work during crises, and they should not become targets of hostile parties, the organization's statement noted.
