Video: Scholz Arrives in Israel

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has arrived in Israel on a solidarity visit, as reported by the DPA agency.

According to sources, the German leader is expected to engage in discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, as well as the families of German citizens held hostage by the Palestinian Hamas militant group.

As previously reported by The Times of Israel, citing an advisor to the Israeli government, Scholz will also meet with the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Major General Herzi Halevi, and the IDF Chief of Staff, Gadi Eisenkot.
