VIDEO: Insufficient Space - How the Hospital in Gaza is Operating

In Gaza's "Al-Shifa" hospital, there is not enough space, forcing people to be accommodated on the floor. This information was shared by Khaled Abu Samra, a cardiologist at the medical center.

“Currently, our hospital has medications, equipment, water, and power from a generator (in other parts of Gaza, there is no electricity or communication), but all of this is running out. We don’t know how many days it will last,” he told an RT correspondent.

The doctor noted that many people are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes due to Israeli strikes. New bodies are constantly being brought to the morgue.

Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that there are 1,200 people trapped under the rubble in Gaza, about 500 of whom are children.

Yesterday, the World Health Organization announced that there are 24 hours left before a real disaster begins in the besieged Gaza Strip.

It is important to recall that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from Gaza. The Israeli army's press service stated that extremists fired more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists invaded border areas in the south of Israel. The military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement announced that it is conducting an operation called “Al Aqsa Flood” against Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also reported the start of an operation called “Iron Swords” against Hamas in Gaza.

The death toll in Gaza has surpassed 2,000, while the number of dead in Israel has exceeded 1,000, with several thousand Israelis and Palestinians reported injured. Reports also indicate several deceased and missing Russian nationals, as well as citizens from other countries.
