HAMAS may release nearly 200 hostages if Israel halts its airstrikes on Gaza, announced Iran's Foreign Ministry. However, the group has not confirmed whether it will accept such a proposal.

"HAMAS officials have stated that they are prepared to take necessary measures to free the detained citizens and peaceful residents, but such measures require preparations that are impossible under the daily bombardment conditions from the Zionists across different parts of Gaza," said Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani.

It is known that HAMAS has taken 199 individuals who were kidnapped in Israel to the Gaza Strip.
