VIDEO: Colorful and Fairy-Tale Balloons in Yerevan's Sky

From early morning, colorful balloons have adorned the sky of Yerevan. The Skyball company, with the support of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, is organizing the international ballooning festival "Discover Armenia from the Sky" from October 14-18. This year, more than 20 balloons from Armenia and abroad, including Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Japan, Great Britain, Russia, and Georgia, will participate in the festival.

The festival aims to showcase the adventure tourism potential of Armenia to locals and the international community, endeavoring to make such festivals an annual event and add them to the list of the world's top festivals.

The festival will consist of two stages: an exhibition stage and a competitive stage. The exhibition stage will include free flights of the balloons in the airspace of Yerevan, Garni, and Aparan. During the competitive stage, each balloon's crew will have to accomplish the required tasks, from which winners will be selected.
