Significant Number of Displaced Persons Have Chosen to Reside in Armenian Regions: Deputy Prime Minister
Currently, there are 80,000 forcibly displaced people from Artsakh registered in the regions of Armenia, announced Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachaturyan during a press briefing at the government humanitarian center.
“This means that a significant portion of the displaced people have chosen the regions of Armenia as their place of residence, even if temporarily,” he stated.
According to Tigran Khachaturyan, the regional administrations and relevant organizations are assisting the forcibly displaced individuals in choosing the best possible living conditions that can be provided in the regions for this purpose.
