Putin Expects CIS Games to Be Successfully Held in Gyumri

Russian President Vladimir Putin expects that the 2024 CIS Games will be successfully held in the city of Gyumri, Shirak province of Armenia. He made this statement during the CIS leaders' summit in Bishkek.

"Next year, the games are scheduled to be held in Gyumri. I hope that despite all the dramatic events happening in the region, Armenia will be able to host this event," said Putin.

It is worth noting that this year's major sporting event took place in Minsk.
