VIDEO: ‘We are here and we’re not going anywhere,’ Blinken tells Netanyahu
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, met with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. During the meeting, Blinken whispered to Netanyahu, ‘I’m glad to see you. I’m sorry it’s under these circumstances.’ He assured that they are not going anywhere when it comes to supporting Israel.
Joining Blinken were U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Stephanie Hallett and several aides. Next to Netanyahu were Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi, Military Secretary Avi Gil, Israel's Ambassador to Washington Michael Herzog, and Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, whom Netanyahu rarely invites to such meetings.
