Israel and Egypt Reach Agreement: Foreign Citizens Can Exit Gaza
Israel and Egypt have reached an agreement to open a safe corridor for foreign citizens located in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the Axios website.
Earlier, it was reported that Egypt is unwilling to open a corridor for Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip.
"Israel and Egypt have reached a principled agreement on creating a safe corridor for Americans and other foreign citizens," American and Israeli officials told Axios.
According to the website, there are more than 500 Americans and other foreign citizens in the Gaza Strip, including UN staff, non-governmental organization members, and journalists.
It is important to remember that on the morning of October 7, Israel suffered an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army's press service reported that extremists launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel.
