Ukrainian Armed Forces to Continue Offensive Operations in Winter, Pentagon

The Ukrainian armed forces intend to continue their attempts at counteroffensive operations through the winter, despite a number of challenges. This was stated by General Charles Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

He is confident that Washington is doing everything possible to support the success of the Ukrainian armed forces. “I believe we are putting Ukraine in a favorable position. I understand that it will be harder during the winter months, but Ukraine is determined to continue its offensive actions during the winter months,” said Brown.
