I Damaged the Poster, I Did the Right Thing: Citizen Who Damaged Banner in Yeraskh
“I damaged the poster; I did the right thing.” This was announced by Davit Hovhannisyan, a resident of the Ararat region, who called the editorial office of Radar Armenia and stated that on October 8 in Yeraskh, he himself damaged a banner featuring the flags and coats of arms of Armenia and Russia.
“We should put an end to false propaganda. I damaged the poster; I did the right thing. I didn’t run away. There were two of us, not six. We sent our message,” he told the media.
It should be noted that the Investigative Committee of Armenia, addressing the incident, reported that on October 8, 2023, a report was received stating that on the previous day, around 22:55, unidentified individuals damaged the poster symbolizing the friendship of the Armenian and Russian peoples in the central part of Yeraskh village in the Ararat region using a knife.
