Air Alert Declared in All Cities of Northern Israel
An extensive airstrike warning has been declared in northern Israel. A map published by Israeli media indicates that the alert has been issued for a large part of the country’s northern region.
Representatives of Hamas's military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, have announced the shelling of northern Israel, particularly Haifa, as reported by Ynet.
The Times of Israel reports that several unmanned aerial vehicles may have penetrated Israeli airspace from Lebanon. Haaretz mentions that a rocket has landed in an 'open area' along the coastal territory in northern Israel. According to local authorities, there have been no casualties or damage.
On the afternoon of October 11, the Israeli Defense Forces announced that Israeli military units had attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after militants launched an anti-tank missile towards Israel. Israeli forces struck Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon using a drone in response to rocket fire at IDF positions in the border area.
