No Losses in the Armenian Community of Israel, But Some Populations Relocated to Safer Areas
The Office of the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs is in constant communication with representatives of community organizations in Israel. This was reported by the Office of the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
"During the ongoing actions in Israel, no losses have been reported among the Armenian community or Armenian institutions; however, certain groups of the Armenian population from the southern and northern regions of the country have relocated to safer areas," the statement said.
It is recalled that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army's press service reported that extremists launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of militants infiltrated border areas in southern Israel. Israel has launched retaliatory strikes.
