Israel Confirms Killing of Senior Hamas Official

The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed the killing of a senior Hamas official, according to TASS.

“Last night, the Israeli aviation eliminated Javad Abu Shammal, the Minister of Economy of the Hamas terrorist organization. He was responsible for the organization’s expenditures and allocated resources for terrorism in the Gaza Strip and beyond. Previously, he had worked in the security sector of the terrorist organization,” the statement read.

The press service also noted that Abu Shammal had led several operations against the Israeli civilian population.
